Have a problem with scanning some updated romsets. There are some neogeo (and perhaps other) sets that are not detected at all.

For example "neomrdo.zip"

The following roms are reported as missing when I try to run the game from Mame (0.143u9):
"207-p1.p1", CRC(334ea51e) SHA1(0a642f8565ec6e9587ed767bcf177f4677547162)
"207-m1.m1", CRC(b5b74a95) SHA1(7b01f3b87c247cc7472591f8cdcf0ae8065e31c6)

My romset contains the old versions:
"207-m1.bin", CRC(81eade02) SHA1(d6d135bc525f3ed14a8c255f0b83d83a52b0659c)
"207-p1.bin" , CRC(39efdb82) SHA(75fe68921f871872e5fc92594e43b4cd712e819b)

The strange thing is that I'm unable to make CLRMame to detect the files as changed or missing. I have tried with deleting the "neomrdo.zip" but it is still not reported as missing. Any clues what's wrong??

be sure that:
you scan against the same mame version which you used for starting the game
you scan neogeo sets (system selector)
you got the mentioned set enabled (set information screen)
you do a full new scan with all check options enabled (esp. the hash ones) and maybe with a cleaned cache.
and finally maybe check the zip for structural errors

since Im on holiday these are my common guesses. you can try to send me your setup and files for more testing later next week.

It worked with "scan neogeo sets (system selector)". I have never used the "system selector" before but why is not neogeo scanning selected by default?

it is enabled by default as all systems and new systems are.
maybe it was disabled as a sideeffect of so me init issues in 4.0. however you always see in the window title line if sets or systems are not enabled (the. it shows something like x/y sets...).

Ok, in my settings only 8 systems was enabled. But I enabled them all and did a new scan that fixed a lot of roms... Thanks for your help Roman. Now everything looks fine and work as expected

good you solved it. maybe I should add a one time prompt warning if not all systems are enabled.  we'll see
