I made some days ago some dats with included subdirs

using Clrmame Pro 4.033/64bit dir2dat and this is the result:

so the upper part is the wrong one? and for example Abra Ca Dabra (1.00) screenshot.jpg is in a subfolder called "1.00" ?

block above (with \) is right.

Abra Ca Dabra (1.00) screenshot.jpg is in a subfolder called "1.00".

can you give me a short description how the files are stored?

- what is the dir2dat source folder
- where is Abra Ca Dabra (1.00) screenshot.jpg located?
- is it an unpacked file?

Currently I assume the following:
<your sourcepath>\1.00\Abra Ca Dabra (1.00) screenshot.jpg

is this correct? Or is your setup different...maybe also a screenshot of dir2dat.

....since currently I cannot reproduce the problem...I always get a valid "\"

this 'bug'? occurred only with this version.

I'm using WinRAR 5.50_64bit (new rar 5 compression option used)

works for me...but as I said...maybe your storing method is different.

So, I've created an empty folder e:\temp\test and put the rar file in it.
I went to dir2dat, settings can be seen in attached screenshot and hit create....and it created:

Solved. Done with a clean install, deleting all previous files.
