Hi all. I just downloaded the newest frontend of MameUI 0.146u3 and I get a clrmamepro error when I try and load the profile, see below.

"Found an incomplete datfile or bad exe-output!"

Does anyone know how this can be fixed? I have been using clrmamepro for a long time and this is the first time this error has ever come up.

I have reinstalled clrmamepro and I get the same error.

I have used 3 different Mame frontends.

I managed to get it working by uninstalling clrmame and deleting all registry keys associated with it then reinstalling it.

cmpro does not use the registry at all. the installer might but who's using that anyway
the mentioned error happens if the mame binary got a problem with generating its xml oitput. pretty common if you're using a binary which was not clean compiled,ie no 'make clean' before a 'make'
