Light Blue Text?
« on: 05 July 2010, 20:57 »

First off, ClrMamePro is great. I've been using it quite a bit and I've been able to get most of my ROMS that weren't working into shap.

However, I've had this issue pop up in a couple of ROMS and I'm stumped.

I'm using Mame .138 (which is latest version) and the newest version of ClrMamePro.

Here is an example of my problem: I have the ROM for Knights of Valour and I have versions 1.04 and 1.03. According to the Scan from ClrMamePro, I have all of the files needed for 1.04. I went ahead and picked up the 1.03 version (which I believe is just a clone) and when I scan the file shows up in light blue (for the record, the file is p0600.103). Neither version will work in MAME.

Any thoughts? Why is the file showing up in light blue text? Also, if ClrMamePro is showing that I have all the files and they are named correctly, etc., shouldn't the ROM work?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

cmpro only lists issues...so if you got something listed for your set, your set got a problem. The tree output should tell you what...most likely missing files....
Light blue simply indicates clone files while parent ones are black (unless you change the colors).
