Thank you so much!  I finally *get it*  I was in the same boat, I side loaded Mame4Android to my Kindle Fire and now I can make it work i think!  Thanks so much!

Humm I am having problems, When i select settings to set up the rom path it says no profile loaded and takes me to the profiler... I am a complete idiot, Would you mind dumbing it down for me and walk me through the process?   I have the Roms and the Dat file on my PC so i can make them all work then transfer em to my Android, I am just so clueless... My Apologies

Generally clrmame can be used to audit files for a given datfile. Audit means it can check your files against the data provided in the dat, and some if not most issues can be fixed by clrmame. Of course it cannot magically create files which you don't have.

So, find yourself a datfile for Mame4Droid which can be loaded into clrmamepro's profiler, then setup a rompath in settings which points to your rom archives, then go to the scanner and scan. It will tell you what's missing / what is wrong with your collection....and if the fix options are enabled, it can upate your sets.

Roman, thanks again for the help but I am still stuck.  I think I need it dumbed down a whole lot more.

Where do I find "datfile"?

Where is the profiler located?

I appreciate your patience.

Roman:
I don't know where you find a datfile for Mame4Android. You need to use google.
The profiler is one of the main screens of cmpro. Actually it automatically opens if you enter cmpro.
