« on: 16 May 2011, 23:18 »

JUst upgraded to to 3.318, and can no longer select/toggle scanning samples or CHDs?

Any ideas?

well, the the used dat doesn't have any chds or samples listed. double check this.  For MAME you should use a direct import ( profiler-> create ) and not a 3rd party dat which may left out samples and chds.

so.... what data / profile are you using?

I was using one from the torrent site that I got the update files from - didn't know you could 'build' a dat file in profiler...

good to hear you solved it...
as mentioned, best way for MAME is to directly take the data from the MAME binary....so you're sure you got all included.
