I was recently in touch with the creator (compiler?) of the MameUI Cabinets, John IV.  I mentioned that ClrMame still has a DAT file for the MameUI Cabinets but that I was unable to locate the artwork on his site.  His reply:

Yeah I retired them some years ago.  Some new ones are here.

With this in mind, should possibly the MameUI DAT file for Cabinets be replaced to use the ProgettoSnaps DAT file?  Obviously no disrespect is meant to anyone but if the author himself states that he is not going to work on it anymore, perhaps now would be a good time to do this?

well, feel free to update to progetto snaps/cabinets/flyers etc....
as you can see I did not update the artwork dats for a while since I myself don't have time at the moment.....I actually think to completely remove the dats and link to progetto....but time will tell...
