Hello, thanks for the tool.
I am new to it, messed around with romcenter but I want to try clrmamepro features.
When the moment comes to select "compressor utilities" it only displays RAR and 7Z as an option. Looking after it on the internet it shows a ZIP option that is not available here. I also searched topics for "zip" here and didn't find it.
What must I do to use zip instead of 7z? 7z takes a long time to scan on my other computer and I had to convert all to zip and don't want to do this again.

No idea where in the internet you see a zip tab in the compressor settings...there is no such tab with options.
You got rar and 7z tabs only because for such compression methods you need an external tool.
For zip everything is integrated.

So...you don't need to do anything.....zip is the default.

The dialog you're looking it is actually something that you - as a beginner in cmpro - should not reach so quickly.....you should check out tutorials.
The normal setup is using the default settings and simply do:
- profiler -> add a datfile (file or mame.exe import)
- settings -> setup your rompaths
- scanner -> hit scan and watch the output tree
