CHD Folder creation and move CHDs
« on: 07 March 2016, 18:18 »

Hello all,

I'm having difficulty with messages saying my CHDs are not placed correctly.  Upon further investigation I have the right CHDs but some are contained within a single directory I've manually fixed these by creating the required directory and moving the single chd to the new location.  Can clrmamepro create missing directories and move the CHDs automatically? I've poured over settings but can't make the scanner or rebuilder do what I think I need it to do to correct the scan errors.  Thanks in advance for your direction on this.

Put the chds in a rompath root folder and cmpro's scanner will automatically move them (and creates the corrrectly named subfolder) for you.

If you already see the message that chds are wrongly paced, then be sure to have the fix options enabled to actually move them to the correct place.

There are cases where moving fails. Then you already have an identically named chd file in the destination. You can move them manually (or use the context menu on the item to move/delete/explorer/etc. them )

Many thanks for your time Roman.  I had CHDs in their own location as an additional Rom path. I wasn't excited about manually creating 85 some odd directories.  Thanks again.
