well...when you did what?
Need way more details....

what you can do for example is send cmpro.ini + used datfile + *.cmp file (cmpro settings folder) which belongs to your profile....or -if not too big- you can of course pack and upload your cmpro folder...

if it crashes, try to minimize the problem (e.g. by reducing the files in your rompath)

Thanks for the files...a quick unrar and start did not lead to any error...(well...of course I don't have any romfiles, so I created an empty romfolder and hit scan)...no problem here.

So..when exactly does the crash occur? If you go to the scanner? If you hit new scan? I didn't see a progress window on your screenshots, so it seems that you did not even start a scan yet? Or does it happen after the scan when the progress window is gone and it should show statistics? Then you might turn off "add/show statistics" and try again....
If it happened during a scan, a corrupt zip/7z/rar whatever file might have hit an exception within the used libraries...so...maybe we need some example romfiles to repeat the problem...

It occured during a rebuild from my SID reposity.

I'd upload main set and reposity to check.

I'm using WinRAR 5.20 64bit version

oh yes...my fault...now I see it's the rebuilder screen...not scanner....

well..would be great if you can minimize the files you're rebuilding...make it repeatable with less files as possible....

I guess it's more based on a corrupt archive or something like this..the rebuilder is used so heavily, a general fault is not known.....
