7 zip merge question

Hi all,new user here.Im trying to 7 zip merge my genesis roms collection so all regions are merged in 1 file.now after I set everything up,and i click rebuild I get the same message "error while adding c:program files clrmamepro\temp\(rom name)to c:users\gen(rom name)7z  do you want to stop the rebuliding process

Im pretty sure that I have everything set correctly I select regions then I select all,and put usa,jap,and eur at the top......can someone please tell me what Im doing wrong?----thanks in advance

most likely you're using 7z options which generate solid 7z files which are not supported, ie after the first file is created the following will fail.

if not I need some more details. for example send me the dat plus the belonging .cmp file from cmpros settings folder plus cmpro.ini.
I can look into this then after my holiday.

ok,so how do i set 7z to NOT use solid archives...?

as for the dat file i am using the parent xml from no intro dat-o-matic....

check settings/compressor/7z options. the default ones however are set to use non solid options but maybe 7z changed in the meanwhile.
as mentioned, it could be 7z related but not necessarily. please mail me the requested files and I will have a look at it next week.

Solved Roman!  I had user point to 7z.exe location.
