Some info from spanish forums and comments from a blog:

According whit c@brero (technical repair machines in those years and well acquainted with the cidelsa pcbs) that game was a 'hack' (official hack?) a few roms were replaced, that's all.

As for the Altair II, saying that the cabinet that I saw (and where I played), was the original Altair. All that changed around the cab, was the "marquee" where it was stated that the game is Altair II.

Could this be the "Altair II (2)" from Cidelsa?. If the final boss was kind of a man wrapped in a sort of hull around him, we talked about this game.
Does the color of man (looked more like a baby) was white and the hull or bubble was pink?. The way to kill him is shooting in the legs until they were disappearing and you could shoot him?. No other game I remember that time with those features you mention. (I have not found pictures of Altair II).
Add: Your ship could lose a wing or two if I gave it an enemy or a bullet?

(For those who do not know: The difference between "Altair" and "Altair II" is in the order in which the screens of enemies appear and the "monster" at end... and after finishing the game, you get "qualify" and all sort of: Fair, Good, Very good, Excellent and Extraordinary).

I hope someday appears some Altair II board. Anyway, I'm more and more convinced that i had seen the blessed blue fetus.

Impressions after take a look on Altair's Flyer.

Seeing that marquee i reaffirm further into the theory of "Altair II" had the marquee in black and yellow with red letters (and Cidelsa's logo, of course).

"Electronica Funcional Operativa"... look what I've wondered sometimes asked myself to the letters that had labeled "EFO" in Playmatic and Altair boards.

Source of both:

So according whit some sites, "Electronica Funcional Operativa" developed the games for Cidelsa:
