EXE Renaming for fixing case
« on: 04 August 2013, 10:26 »

It seems that EXE renaming is not utilized for fixing case. Can it be? Thanks.

you're right...it does it via remove/add and not via rename :)
should be a rather easy change for a future version

Thanks. It's using the exe now, but why are you doing the _cmpren step? Both 7z and WinRAR seem to be able to change case from command line in a single step in my testing.

You little spy :)

well, I quickly linked it to the rename operation which does a circular rename check (and if it finds a circular rename it does this in-between rename first....) and in case of case fix it's actually a circular rename for it :O)
That'll be disabled soon...
