chd wrong merged issue

California Speed (Version 1.0r7a 3/4/98) [folder: calspeeda - parent: calspeed - size: 544kb]
wrong merged ROM set: D:\Emulator\mame\roms\calspeeda (merge to: calspeed)
wrong placed chd: D:\Emulator\mame\roms\calspeeda\calspeda.chd (move to set: calspeed)
wrong placed chd: D:\Emulator\mame\roms\calspeeda\calspeda.chd (move to set: calspeed)

Area 51: Site 4 (HD Rev 2.01, September 7, 1998) [folder: a51site4 - size: 516kb]
wrong name: D:\Emulator\mame\roms\a51site4\a51site4.chd [wrong: a51site4.chd] [right: a51site4-2_01.chd]
unneeded diskimage: D:\Emulator\mame\roms\a51site4\a51site4.chd



i get that message from some chds but clrmame doesnt seem to fix it automatic so I am supposed to fix that manual?

yes manually or your move the chd to a rompath root and the next scan will move them to their correct place

yes manually or your move the chd to a rompath root and the next scan will move them to their correct place

ok i moved now all chs to root dir - deleted all empty chddirs and started scanner again
but why is this needed? any reason clrmame cant make that automatic?

anyway goodjob on clrmame
I must admit though that I use clrmame only as sort of penis test to show off that I have a full and complete set
I have no time anymore to real play mame haha
