a small question
« on: 20 July 2010, 15:52 »

is there any way to save a log of the sets with file errors (corrupted archives, or archives with Shift JIS filenames which cannot be accessed, etc.) detected during a rebuild or a dir2dat run?

manually parsing list of files with problems in the error window is quite a PITA

actually, I was referring to the list of problematic files which appear in the non-resizeable window during a rebuild and a dir2dat run. in this case there is no warning popup, only a list of files with the corresponding error

I think you can easily reproduce the window I'm talking about if you run dir2dat over one of the files with Kanji names you created for http://www.emulab.it/forum/index.php?topic=303.0

d'oh you were right... that warning window has all the necessary options once I right-click on it. I must have missed that, yesterday

thanks for the patience

EDIT: btw it seems that if I select the add year in the dir2dat options, no year is added to the resulting xml dat. is there anything else I should select to obtain the <year> thing in the resulting dat?

add year only adds the tag but no info. unless the match tag data is used too and year info is available.
