Could the recognition be changed to allow for spaces in the filename?

When I use ProgettoSnaps (http://progettosnaps.mameworld.info/pS_Dats.html), I am always asked if I want to update "pS Versus"...

Examples:

I am trying to update "pS Cabinets 20090703 (cm).dat" with "pS Cabinets 20090801 (cm).dat" but it happens with all of them (except of course updating Versus with Versus

The update detection is not based on the filename but the name tag inside the datfile.
