Since MAME would treat them as all separate sets, I would choose option 1: we list all known undumped revisions.
A thing that could be done to avoid excessive duplicate informations is to do one single page for each game, and list inside of it the different undumped revisions.

I believe we must distinguish between games that already have a entry in the list and games that were in the list just because it wasn't updated since years. In the fist case, if evidece exists that the game actually IS the one in mame, there should be no need to create a page, it actually can be consiedered "cleanup". If there are doubts about it (eg, World Rally championship), the page must be created and discussed. If game is promoted, we move it to the dumped catehory. This is, at least, what I would do.

Welcome to the Undumped Wiki Board!
This board will work as discussion center for the undumped wiki, a place where we are trying to collect all informations about games that have not yet been dumped for inclusion in MAME.
Please use it to discuss about the games, to know if present entries in the wiki has been alreay dumped, to ask for advice and instructions, or if you have any idea on how to improve the wiki.
Make a good use of it, and thanks for your contributions to the wiki!!
