well....at least I know now why it doesn't work for you...you keep chds separated from roms...
working on a fix....

send me your cmpro.ini and the belonging .cmp file from cmpros settingsfolder. here it shows them (I had 3) fine.

genpin is as far as I remember a sample only set. cmpro will ask you during exe import if this should be handled that way. if you do not or use a third party dat it is most likely not listed and so your file will br unneeded.
so get the data from a mame binary and yes put the genpin archive in a sample path

you got sets roms chds and all checkoptions enabled?

you wont be able to do further fixing on solid archives. they are not recommended to be used. as mentioned before it's not worth the hassle anyway.

Different compression settings, different sizes....easy as that....
you can tweak more bytes of any file in an archive if you fiddle around with commandline switches of 7z....but again..who cares about gaining some free space in days where multi terabyte hds cost nearly nothing and a full MAME with CHDs is like 1/3 TB or something....

Tweaking here sounds a bit like finding a perfect AT connection string for modems...back in 198x....lots of work and testing to gain some transfer bits...

Actually I had the torrent7z error also with 7z 9.20...but anyway...in the meanwhile I found the reason why files do not get removed (and so the move failed).....and I think the stats issue was based on your missing ini file...

clrmame Discussion / Re: Clrmame "forum version" dont move roms
« on: 04 February 2013, 08:23 »
You got a corrupt 7z file....standard 7z cannot remove a file from this torrent7z file and so the moving operation fails.

...and looking at the archive with a hex-viewer I found the problem the last bytes are "torrent7z_0.9beta".

Again...there is no support for torrent7z...and once again it looks like it does create 7z files which aren't fully supported by standard 7z....

Tested 32 and 64 bit versions under Win7 (64bit ultimate)...always stats..

Regarding the "move" issue, well, it's somehow based in the 7z archive... when I manually do a:

7z d -y -ms=off -mx9 CMP_Header_Fix_2\apple2gs\rastana.7z "rastan (1990)(taito)(us)(disk 1 of 2)[cr2].2mg"
7-Zip [64] 9.30 alpha  Copyright (c) 1999-2012 Igor Pavlov  2012-10-26
Error:
There is some data block after the end of the archive
Nicht implementiert
System error:
Nicht implementiert

In other words: 7z does not remove the file and throws a "not implemented" error....most likely because it's some weird solid archive....

I took your package, unzipped it, changed the rompath to the apple2gs folder, changed the 7z path to your provided one and hit scan...it asked me to move files, yes please...worked...and stats are shown, too. So for now I cannot repeat the problem at all...Moving and showing stats work.

little correction...ok...I can repeat the not-move thingie now....however stats are always there....

Zandro,

http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/binaries/cmp20130201.rar

this should fix the remaining "undersized" rebuild/scan issues

turn off the show statistics option

2157
complain to the MESS team that -listsofware and -listsoftware <insert name here> can have different outputs and why not all single files are included in the output...
this is not cmpro based...

more likely it shows the scanning statistics in a window which might be behind some others on your system and simply waits for your OK confirmation. Turn off showing the stats (scanner option) and rescan....
