Yep - opened that in notepad and found a couple "F:" references that I changed and all is good now.  Thanks!

Ah - makes sense.  I recently move from F: to C:....will double check my settings.  I checked Profiler/Settings/Merger screens but don't see F: anywhere.

Any ideas what causes this?  I have a 1TB C: drive, only 198GB used.

clrmame Discussion / Re: - [LIST]... question
« on: 29 June 2015, 23:06 »
Thanks!  Problem solved (what threw me was the "LIST" in the error, but the "SOFT" in the "Systems" list).  Many thanks Roman, been using your tool since the very beginning.  If there was a Mount Rushmore for MAME, your face would be on it.   :)

clrmame Discussion / - [LIST]... question
« on: 29 June 2015, 22:02 »
Sorry if this has been asked already (I did do a search for "LIST" but no matches).  Anyways...how can I get past this error when I do a new scan of MAMEUI64 v0.162:

BAD System Default Paths
You're using SysDefPath options and at least one path isn't valid....
 - LIST Sega 32X cartridges

(and the list continues).  The list did contain [BIOS] errors, but i was able to figure out how to fix those.  When I go to the "Systems" screen I don't see "LIST" listed.

Thanks
Dave

I don't have this option enabled - should it be?

Thought I had this solved, but it returned when I did a complete scan using v4.09a (64-bit).  I'm using merged sets, and when it scans to the p911 CHDs, I get stuck in an endless loop:

Missing CHD: a00kac02.chd
solution: copy a00uac02 to a00kac02....(same SHA1)
...Scan....warning goes away.

New Scan....
warning: a00kac02 is named wrong...cannot rename since a00uac02 already exists
solution: remove a00kac02...

errors/warnings gone...until....I perform a complete scan again, then I go thru the above all over.

I've tried changing "Advanced / Allow CHDs in ROMPath Root" ... no change.  I've tried moving them to their own folder (cmpro then moves them to the parent folder, and problem persists).

Is there a setting I'm missing or is this just something to expect when merging roms?

Many thanks!

cmpro: 64-bit v4.09a
mame64: v0.147u4

I have a single hyperbbc.zip in \ROMS and a single folder ROMS\hyperbbc\ which contains 908a02.CHD...

Didn't happen until I updated to v0.146 - I use MAMEUI64 as my EXE.  Any ideas?

Been using clrmame for years...but lately I've had a prob with larger sets like progetto's SNAP collection...clrmame will scan for HOURS, just spinning it's wheels (I assume - there's no detail on what's it's doing...and the "Scanning Files..." windows is stuck at 0% althought the animation still rolls on moving the magnifying glass up and down over the endless array of chips).  I've tried moving the source ZIP (snaps.zip) to a local drive (C:), but it's been running for 4+ hours now.

I'm runnin v4.05 (64-bit) on a Win7 (64-bit) laptop with 6GB of RAM, AMD A8-3510MX APU.  Any ideas?
