General / "EmuMovies MAME Plus! XT Video Snaps [480p] v.0.149u1" clrmame DAT

Visto che gli unici video più o meno aggiornati rimangono ormai solo quelli del sito EmuMovies (sull'FTP sono fermi alla 0.148) e visto che il servizio di download/rinomina automatico di tale sito lascia fuori qualche centinaio di filmati rispetto a quelli presenti sull'FTP, ho controllato e rinominato i file alla vecchia maniera per renderli compatibili con la 0.149u1.
In allegato trovate un file dat per tale versione che provvederà anche a rinominare automaticamente tutti i file da .mp4 a .avi, piccolo trucco per ingannare il sistema, poi il player integrato nell'XT gestirà il filmato correttamente.

General / Passare ad MPlayer comando per video .mp4

Ciao Simone, visto che l'unico progetto attualmente in piedi per i video dei giochi arcade (e non solo) rimane quello di EmuMovies by Circo, perché non compilare la prossima release dell'XT in modo da passare all'MPlayer il comando per l'apertura di video con estensione mp4 anziché avi?
I video di EmuMovies sono tutti in formato mp4, per ora non ho fatto altro che rinominarli tutti da riga di comando in avi, ingannando l'MPlayer che in questo modo li riesce a gestire correttamente evitandone la conversione con conseguente perdita di qualità, visto però che rimangono gli unici sulla piazza ad essere aggiornati forse sarebbe meglio adeguare direttamente il sorgente dell'XT.

Lo so che se messi in ordine alfabetico i giochi vengono già suddivisi per sistema, ma siccome non mi piaceva, ho fatto un file ini da copiare nella cartella "folder" con suddivisi i 5 sistemi emulati dall'HazeMD...

Il gioco mancante è questo...
(Genesis) Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures (Release Candidate)
...cercando un po' in giro mi pare di capire che il titolo non sia mai effettivamente uscito per il MegaDrive, ma com'è possibile che sia stato incluso nell'emulatore se poi in giro non si riesce a trovare?
Chiaramente non pretendo di trovarlo qui sul forum, semplicemente vorrei la conferma del fatto che questa rom non sia ancora disponibile, così mi rassegno sapendo che il set è completo così com'è.

General / command.dat rearranged for "MAME Plus XT 0.145r4981"

Hi! I've rearranged the old unofficial command.dat revised in 22/12/2009 by Fabricio da Silva Coroquer and based on original Command List from Procyon.
I haven't added any new command, I just updated the roms names to version 0.145.

Ciao a tutti, ho dato una risistemata al vecchio command.dat non ufficiale precedentemente rivisionato il 22/12/2009 da Fabricio da Silva Coroquer che a sua volta si basò sul lavoro originale di Procyon.
Non ho aggiunto nessun nuovo comando ma semplicemente aggiornato i nomi delle roms alla versione 0.145.

General / CrashTest Video add-on for Movies Preview "MAME Plus XT 0.145r4981"

I've actualized the old Crash Test Video set and I've found 91 movies not included in Dany release.
Unfortunately the video formats are not avi (XviD) but mng+mp3, for this reason I've added an additional mng player (MNGer) in the apps folder and an executable file for switch from one to another player according to the type of video format.
For update the Movies Preview rearranged for "MAME Plus XT 0.145r4981" with this 91 additional Crash Test files:
1) Download "Crash Test Video add-on" from: http://bitshare.com/files/zxizwwjs/ctest.rar.html
2) Download "MAME Auto Select Players" from: http://bitshare.com/files/7f2vvg61/masp.rar.html
3) Remove original mplayer folder inside the apps folder
4) Extract "ctest.rar" and "masp.rar" in MAME Plus XT root folder overwriting existing folders
The procedure for starting the videos is the same and the switching is invisible, will change only the player used according to the file type.
I also attached the full ini file with Movies HQ + HQ no DAT + LQ diff + CTest.
N.B.
The MNGer player, instead of mplayer, does not automatically close when the movie was finished.
Procedure tested on Windos 7.

Ho aggiornato i nomi del vecchio set di video creati dal tem Crash Test, tra questi ne ho trovati 91 non inclusi nell'ultima release di Dany.
Sfortunatamente i video in questione non sono in formato avi (XviD) ma in formato mng+mp3 e quindi non compatibili con il MAME XT, come soluzione al problema ho inserito un player aggiuntivo per video mng (MNGer) tra le applicazioni dell'XT ed un eseguibile che commuti automaticamente tra un player e l'altro in base al tipo di file da visualizzare.
Per aggiornare la Movies Preview rearranged for "MAME Plus XT 0.145r4981" con questi 91 video addizionali del Crash Test team, seguire questi semplici passi:

This is an update pack for cheats. There are same number of ini files of previous "support files pack" but with ability to enable more cheats in some games.
Aggiornamento cheats files. In realtà il numero di file ini è identico a quello del "support files pack", la differenza sta nella possibilità di attivare un maggior numero di cheats, rispetto ai precedenti file ini, in alcuni giochi.

General / MAME Plus XT updated apps pack

Hi, I've updated the apps pack for "MAME Plus XT" with latest softwares release.
"IZArc2Go v.4.1.6" for viewing and extracting roms.
"PDF-XChange Viewer v.2.5" for viewing arcade manuals (F11 for view menù bar).
"metapad v.3.6". I don't understand the usefulness, "PCB info viewer" is integrated in emulator and I don't remember to seeing other text features. I also updated.
"VLC media player v.1.11" for viewing movies preview. I've some problems with MVP (MAME Video Player) and Windows 7 x64 and I don't like that the movies appear in the snapshots box, I prefer a separate box and ability to viewing at full screen.
The folder name for VLC is "mvp", I'm not a developer and I've simply renamed original VLC executable in "mvp.exe" for working with "MAME Plus XT".
VLC save his settings in windows registry and I couldn't personalizing interface options. My suggestion is to use the minimal interface, CTRL+P and enable "Minimal view mode (no toolbar)". CTRL+H for switching from minimal to full interface.

Hi, some days ago I've rearranged latest Dany69's "Movies Preview" in one set only (HQ+LQ) for usage with the latest "MAME Plus XT" released.
1) I've renamed the old movies name in accordance with the latest "MAME Plus XT released".
2) I've added 54 High Quality movies previously released by Dany and removed after some days (link at the post bottom). I don't remember what was motivation of this action, this movies were already present in Low Quality format and I think there are no problems to post a download link, but if not, the moderator can safely delete it.
3) I've merged High Quality and Low Quality movies in one set only, privileging HQ Movies (including 54 never released) and adding all remaining LQ Movies never released in HQ format.
4) I've generated a new ini file to place in "folder" folder.
For a correct rebuild of collection:
1) Download all HQ movies from http://www.emulab.it/mamext/
2) Download 54 HQ Movies add-on (link at the post bottom).
3) Download dat file and rebuild collection with clrmamepro.
At the end there will be 316 missing files, save the log and download missing files from LQ collection. Probably some files do not appear in the list, this is because from 0.139 to current release their names have changed. Some names are similar and easily identifiable, for the others use Google or a MAME databese. If even so you can not find them, try to post a message in this topic and I try to find them.

Un saluto al forum, alcuni giorni fa mi sono messo giù a risistemare l'ultima release dei "Movies Preview" di Dany69 in un unico set (HQ + LQ) per l'utilizzo con l'attuale versione del "MAME XT Plus".
1) Ho rinominato i nomi dei vecchi filmati in conformità con l'ultima versione rilasciata del "MAME XT Plus".
2) Ho aggiunto 54 filmati in alta qualità rilasciati in precedenza da Dany ma rimossi poi dopo qualche giorno (link a fondo post). Non ricordo quale fossero le motivazione di questa azione, c'è da dire però che questi filmati erano già presenti in formato Bassa Qualità e non penso ci siano dei problemi ad inserire un link per il loro download, in caso contrario chiedo cortesemente ai moderatori di eliminarlo.
3) Ho unito in un unico set i filmati in alta e bassa qualità, privilegiando chiaramente gli HQ (tra cui i 54 mai rilasciati) ed aggiungendo per differenza tutti i filmati LQ rimanenti mai usciti in formato HQ.
4) Ho generato un nuovo file ini da inserire nella cartella "folder" del MAME.
Per una ricostruzione corretta della raccolta:
1) Scaricare tutti i filmati in formato HQ da http://www.emulab.it/mamext/
2) Scaricare l'add-on dei 54 filmati mai usciti (link a fondo post).
3) Scaricare il file dat ed utilizzarlo insieme al ClrMamePro per la ricostruzione del set.
Se avete fatto tutto bene al termine vi ritroverete con 316 file mancanti, slvatevi il log del clrmame e scaricatevi i file mancanti dalla raccolta LQ. Probabilmente alcuni file da scaricare non appariranno nella lista, questo perché dalla release originale 0.139 a quella attuale diversi nomi sono cambiati. Alcuni sono simili e facilmente identificabili, per gli altri consiglio di cercare il vecchio nome con Google o con uno dei tanti databese per MAME. Se non ci doveste riuscire nemmeno così scrivetemi un messaggio in questo topic, cercherò di aiutarvi.
