Running v4.047, whenever I scan the snapshots DAT from http://www.mameui.info/, the app would freeze randomly.  No issues with any other DATs, and even with this particular snapshots DAT it was fine until recently.

I thought the scanner was stuck on a particular file, but if I move it temporarily out of the directly, the scanner would be stuck on a different file, so this is probably not it.  I've tried rebuilding the entire snapshot folder, but subsequent scans would freeze as well.  The files are sitting on a network drive, but I'm scanning other DATs regularly where the files are also on network drives and haven't encounter this issue with any others.

Freezing only appears to happen if "Missing" is checked.  If I run the scan with say just "Unneeded" and "Name" checked, it finishes normally.  If I check "Missing" as well, then it'll freeze on some random file during "Testing Unneeded".  Any thoughts?

clrmame Discussion / Version is blanked when upating DAT file(s)
« on: 19 February 2020, 19:34 »
Not sure if this is a config issue or not.  Whenever I update DAT files (single or multiple), the version column of that partciular DAT file(s) will reset to "-/-" instead of the actual version number, e.g. 20200205-043446.  Even after updating the DAT successfully and performing a scan, the version remains as "-/-".  This becomes a bit of an issue when checking for DAT updates, since it'll always show an update is available for DAT files having version "-/-", even if it's not the case.

The workaround is to re-add one of the DAT files with version "-/-".  It'll prompt that the DAT file already exist and once I choose replace, it'll update every DAT having version "-/-" with the correct value.

Any ideas what's going on?

Currently running the latest clrmamepro build and don't recall encountering this in any previous versions.  This issue happens with No intro and MAMEUI DATs (only ones I'm using).  Thanks!
