clrmame Discussion / wrong name issue from "perfect" set

So I downloaded a full set (torrent7z merged)
looks like in PD merged roms are in subdirs and clrmame expect them flat

scan or fix abviously dont work like that anymore

clrmame Discussion / Given that 7z is insane slow and hdd space is extreme cheap

any type of fixing a 7z is like waiting for next year and with >10k of files this is going to be a red flag

how can I change clrmame so archive fixing is done with maximal speed regardless the filespace needed?

clrmame Discussion / Issues with Softlists rom/chd and clrmame

now after 3 years I jumped in again at mame and I now see that softlist is now added

in which dir I put the softlist roms/chds and how to tell clrmame how to search or check
atm clrmame wants each softlist rom in an own dir which is already like /roms/softlist/name/game.zip etc
when I try autoassign everything get assigned to /roms/ and clrmame will stop with unique path required for each name

real dunno how to do

I must admit I have a 100mbit inet pipe and its faster for me to dowload a full set/extras compared to download update files and manual update with clrmame
this will get valid more and more in the future i guess

how about add to clrmame some feature to download/p2p missing files and updates?

I used the 9.30 but i got that warning like "cold not remove file from .7z"
downgraded to 9.20 and was ok

i get that message from some chds but clrmame doesnt seem to fix it automatic so I am supposed to fix that manual?
