I have an easy question about MAME/MESS merger.  I am a long time MAME fan (17+ years) and enjoy ensuring that I have a complete file set after every MAME release by using your wonderful program.  I have never had an interest in MESS.  With the MAME/MESS merger, my question is whether I will be able to direct CMP to look/check ONLY for MAME related files and completely ignore MESS?  And if so, can you tell me how?

Sorry if this question has already been answered or is self-evident.

Thanks for all your tireless efforts in supporting the emulation community.....

Thanks for the response.  That makes sense.

Again, thanks for all you do for the MAME community.

First of all, allow me an obvious attempt at kissing ass...you da' man !  I have been an active MAME user for 12 years and can not imagine managing my rom collection without your tool.  Thank you.

I am having an issue when I try to update the official high-res flyer pack.  At the end of the rebuilding process, ClrMame reports that it can not rebuild 4 or 5 files and offers to stop the rebuilding process.  The partial zip file it created up to this point is corrupted.  By the way, the file is 4.2gb.  Could this be the problem?

This post was also made at MameWorld by a user named af4 who had same issue:

many thx AntoPISA

but now there was an error with cmpro (newest version).

The flyers.zip becomes over 4gb and cmpro and/or zlib produce an error and rebuilding stops. I have tested it on 2 pcs.

Now I have packed all the flyers stuff (3200png) manually with 7zip to flyers.zip without any errors.

Can you confitm this error with cmpro?? and can you please give an bug report to cmpro author??

many thx and kind regards

Thanks again Roman.
