Title: Problem with sha1 calculation on large files
Post by: Mucci on 01 July 2018, 09:58
Im collecting Switch roms which can be quite large (up to 32GB). I'm adding new roms to a temp folder and scan with CLRMAME. Now I have a lot of files that CLRMAME thinks they are not matching. When I'm doing a checksum verification with another tool the files apprears to match the dat-file.

I think above 9GB is the problem: Could there be a problem with large files that the sha1 calculations are wrong?

can someone confirms that? If you need a file Roman PM me ;-)
thanks a lot

filesize shouldn't be a problem (there are way huger chds etc in MAME which are read/sha1 calculated), however I can double check it.....if I get an example file....and an example datfile
