Title: Issue: hash info doesn't work under windows 8, 8.1 and windows 10
Post by: spogghi on 13 October 2015, 18:52
Good morning,
I would like to point out that the hash info feature, that can be used dropping a file on the "about" page of Clrmame, no longer works under windows 8 / 8.1 / 10. I tested it on several PCs. No issues under Windows 7.
I hope it's not just me, but I could be obviously wrong.

It works perfectly fine. You only need to know how drag'n drop works since Windows Vista. So your reported behaviour is nothing new at all.

Drag'n drop is only allowed when you (the application) are owner of source and destination.
Means...as long as you've installed clrmamepro in a non-uac controlled folder it works perfectly fine. If you did you most likely need to run it as "run as administrator"..which is not really recommended..better install it to a non-uac folder.
