Quick suggestion, when adding DATs from a folder (in this case MAME hash files) where they already exist, add a 'Yes to All' option.
At the moment it asks if you want to replace existing, yes or no. And you have to click yes 300 odd times.

ok...noted

@Cassiel : here have little trick :)
add hashesh in CMP tree root [PROFILES] not to your sub hash folders or so, after that use batch mode and set path to your Mame SL folder ( with this method i bypass CMP question "yes or no" :). CMP self replace hashesh without questions.
That is old trick find by me :)

well...yes of course...if you put them in an empty folder and load them from there (with or without batchmode), cmpro detects where the old version of the dat is..and updates it...
that's not a trick...it's just the normal update feature...

ok master, that's not a trick :) :) :)

Bump... since you seem to be in a coding mood the last few days. :D

haha..yeah yeah..it's still on my list...that and "don't moan about missing 7z or rar.exe when trying to remove rebuilt files, and get rid of some rebuilder warnings dialogs popping up....
...and trying to figure out where the speed loss comes from (I'd expect some faster code when switching to a newer compiler...)

I blame Win10... I'm blaming it for all my woes at the moment. LOL
