Like chdman version check, can you implement the same for RAR version? Check for latest v5.0.

The chdman version directly got an impact on the use within MAME (e.g. hashes changed from md5 to sha1, etc..etc..)....but rar/7z/zip versions only have an impact on the size of the compressed data...and rar is hardly used in my opinion when it comes to rom storing...
currently I'm busy like hell and don't have any time....hope this changes next week.....
In my current queue I only have the set-subfolder support for hash collisions...which works already...but there are some special fix cases (hash collisions for chds in subfolders blablablabla) which need definetly additional scanner work....so that they're moved correctly to backup and back to the right place....
I guess I can finish that rather quickly as soon as I got time....but you know...real life can keep you damn busy...

No problem, I understand. Realise I am very much in the minority (using RAR) too.
