Title: Batch scan not checking sub-folders of 'Source' path?
Post by: i_robot73 on 26 June 2009, 21:42
In rebuilding my TOSEC sets from my 'original' sets & a few other spare HD 'sources'; the batch rebuilder does not seem to scan but the root !?

All TOSEC ISO DATs in one folder, rt-click, 'Load all Prifiles'...Rebuilder\'Use Source Folder'...say (H:)

It seems to roll through & count up files...but NOT build; if I go into each indiv. profile, rebuilder & POINT it to the orig. set I had  does it 'find it' & pull 'em in.  Maybe the cache is bad?  default.cmp??  Any ideas?

Hope I'm making semse  :-*

Sorry  :-\

New load of CM.  Load all TOSEC DATs through batch profiler.  Setup since 'F:\' as source & let her rip.  It only seems to scan the root of the F:\ drive and NOT all the sub-folders (batch 'blips' through all the DATs very quickly).

I actually made it 'work' by manually editing a single DAT, setup 'Add Paths'...saved as 'default', reset all the DATs again & re-scanned w/ the 'new default'.

I just would have thought the batch rebuilder would have scanned the folder it's pointed to AND all it's subs  ???

yeah it could be that it only scans the root.....if I remember correctly there is no batch option to enable subfolder support, so it would use the individual profile's setting in this case...if they don't have it enabled either, it won't be used.

Guess I will add a subfolder option for the batcher for the next version.

If I may suggest, there would be needed a 3 states option:

1) ALWAYS use subfolder
2) NEVER use subfolder
3) follow subfolder as per individual profile.
