Title: Error issues with clrmamepro
Post by: GameGirl3 on 22 May 2014, 18:57
I'm seem to be having issues with the current version of clrmamepro x64. There was a warning and setting problem when trying to load or update a new dat file. The first one:
Quote
Found an incomplete datfile or a bad exe-output!
And the second one:
Quote
An error occurred while reading information from: C:\HoubaUI Plus! Plus! No Intro. 125\Houbap-vc 2005-0.125-no-into.exe You either stopped the loading process or the file is corrupted.
I never stopped the loading process nor is the emulator corrupted, I had this issue before. What can I do to correct this? Here are the pics included.

Looks like you're trying to receive data from "Houbap-vc 2005-0.125-no-into.exe"....an exe file???? You can't do that.

You can either use dat files (*.xml, *.dat) or can import data from a MAME/MESS/PINMAME executable which support -listxml/-listinfo export commands...

Where can I get those? The main clrmamepro site no longer has them.

Get what? Datfiles?
For MAME/MESS/PinMAME you don't need datfiles since you can use the binaries to import data, for other MAME related Artwork datfiles, visit progretto's page and for other datfiles, well, visit the author's pages (tosec, nointro, etc..etc...)

Oh, okay then. I'll try that. Thanks.

Update: Well Roman, I have decided to downgrade clrmamepro 64-bit to version 4.010 for my older emulators. Don't worry, this is temporary, I'll upgrade it again soon.
