Using the binary as the dat source, CMP is telling me that I am missing 67 CHD sets, when in fact I am NOT checking for CHD's at all. I didn't have the issue with u7, so can you check this out?
PS - I even cleared the cache thinking that might be the issue since I hadn't cleared it for a few updates.

a set is a set, no matter if it consists only of chds or roms or a combination of it. assuming that you're talking about chd only sets, if you're checking for sets, they are listed as missing if you don't have the chd. see sets as containers. so it doesen't matter if you disabled the chd scan, it's the sets check option (which should not be disabled). you can fool cmpro if you create the chd subfolders though.
I 'm on holiday and haven't checked u8 but I doubt something serious changed.

so I now scanned u8 and don't see any changed behaviour. I guess my previous post is correct then: If you scan for missing sets, chd-only sets are listed as missing-sets if you don't have the chd (or at least the subfolder as a dummy container).
