As a long time user, I wanted to thank you Roman for your awesome work with clrmamepro.
Also, as a long time user, I wanted to make one suggestion to improve it.
The batch mode is very useful, especially when you deal with a lot of profiles (such as the MESS Software Lists). However one important feature is missing (or am I missing something?): the ability to set the merge format (non-merged/split/merged sets) inside the batch mode itself.
It would be so much more convenient! I hope it could be easily implemented. ;)
-
well, it can be easily added...if I'd find the time....currently we're waiting for our 2nd baby....so...be patient :)
-
Congratulations and thanks for the positive answer. :)

Hi Powerpuff,
Hey if you are looking to convert a split MESS set to merged,
and you are like me and have a dedicated CMP folder 'just for MESS'
You can super quickly change the settings with Notepad Pad++
Open all settings files at once and "Replace All in All Open.."
Save all, Close All
Do a batch "No Rebuilder" run and everything will be merged..
I have seen your posts ;)
so I am sure you can work it out.
-
...hehe....and if I find some time I add the batch merge mode option
-
@oxyandy: So obvious that I wonder why I didn't think about that. Thanks! :)
But the feature would still be a nice addition.
-
I got it on my list.....however as you might now currently we're a little bit...erm...busy....due date was last thursday....so...I don't start anything at the moment ;) waiting...waiting...
When I find some time I will look into the CPP part of 7z and I actually like the idea of having a new clean rebuilder core with some nice improvements....but private life first....
-
Poor mummy... bet she getting well pissed off! ;)
-
was that the ability to change the merge mode for both, rebuilder and scanner in batch mode?
-
ok, scanner and rebuilder merge mode overwrites are in now...
-
Fantastic work Roman,
When do we see a new build ?
Hope your family is doing great.
:-*

When it's done :)
...I assume this weekend

I have been happy to see that the merging feature was added to the version 4.08 of clrmamepro. I have tested it and it works like a charm.
A big thank you to the proud daddy! ;)
