The second, more comprehensive version of the utility to rename your images of MAME.
In couple with the "ini" of renameSET.dat, can now in one pass, rename all your sets of snapshots.
The picture below is an example:

Here's the summary:

Artwork Preview: 500 new (tot. 500 png)
Bosses: 50 new (tot. 800 png)
GameOver: 650 new & 2 upd (tot. 4,050 png)
HowTo: 30 new (tot. 945 png)
Logo: 85 new (tot. 550 png)
Scores: 100 new & 45 upd (tot. 4,910 png)
Select: 65 new & 11 upd (tot. 2,845 png)
Snap: 129 new & 203 upd (tot. 8,733 png)
Titles: 88 new & 53 upd (tot. 8,733 png)
Versus: 15 new & 2 upd (tot. 675 upd)

Whatsnew:
- Update all categories. 2,060 snapshots (1,753 new and 307 updated), images are now total 32,741.
- Add another category of pictures (not entirely new since there are already a couple of versions on the net): the "Artwork Preview" which shows how games are displayed with the various "Bezels","Backdrops" and "Overlays". We start with 500 images.
- Once the work on the games "parent" for the category GameOver. Is now complete .

News & Communication / MAMErenSET v1.0

  Thanks to Guy Peters, it is finally available, the first version of the program that MAMErenSET v1.0, using the version ini of renameSET.dat, can automatically rename (from any version) to your images (as well as PDF, AVI, ICO etc.) In this first issue will not be possible, but we are already working, all the folders to store and process the job done in one pass.
At the same time leaving the 0.138 version of MAME will born the version 1.0a to remedy this limitation.
